Botanic Name : Salvia officinalis Lamiaceae
Salvia is derived from the latin word « salvare » meaning « to heal », whereas « officinalis » refers to an active plant in medical terms. It is said that Common Sage is one of the most ancient cultivated herbs. It has acquired a reputation to preserve the health and to lengthen life expectancy since Ancient Times, in China and in Europe.
Common sage is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with hormone-dependent cancers and people suffering from epilepsy. Avoid prolonged internal use.

Suggestion suggestions :
For one cup, add the equivalent of one to three teaspoons of sage powder and pour in boiling water. Leave to infuse for less than 5 minutes, depending on the desired taste. Sweeten your infusion with a little honey.
