Botanic Name : Aloysia citrodora Verbenaceae
Lemon Verbena has many latin names, and it has changed regularly. Aloysia citrodora is the last name retained by botanists. Originated from the Andes, Lemon verbena has been introduced to Europe at the end of the 18th century by Joseph Dombey and spanish collaborators when they returned from their expidition to Chile and Peru.
Lemon Verbena is a plant suggested when important anxiety or stress states present themselves. It lowers, meanwhile, the constraining effects of a hearty meal. Mild, tasty and rich in citrus, the lemongrass infusion will divinely accompany your long summer evenings.

Preparation suggestions :
For one cup, add the equivalent of one to three teaspoons of Lemon Verbena powder and then pour in boiling water. Leave to infuse for less than 5 minutes, depending on the desired taste. Sweeten your infusion with a little honey.
Precautions of use :
Lemon Verbena tea is safe, but taking litres of it every day is not recommended. It is not recommended for: pregnant women - nursing mothers - young children.
