Botanic Name : Sisymbrium alliaria Brassicaceae

During the Middle-Ages, Garlic Mustard dried leaves were sometimes snorted, as we did later with tobacco. It used to be taken to fight against bronchitis, asthma and eczema, and in external application, it soothes minor wounds, helped to mend slow healing skin problems, rheumatisms and gout.

Garlic Mustard has a slight effect on the automatic protection of the body. Rich in pro-vitamin A and vitamin C. Traditionnally used against rheumatisms, asthma and gout. Known to have a healing effect for the mouth, as a gargle .

Preparation suggestion :

For one litre of water, add the equivalent of one to three teaspoons of Garlic Mustard powder and then pour in the boiling water. Leave to infuse for less than 5 minutes, depending on the desired taste. Sweeten your infusion with a little honey.

Precautions of use :  

Garlic Mustard tea is safe, but taking litres every day is not recommended. It is not recommended for: pregnant women - nursing mothers - young children.
